Vanner battery equalizers are used on 24
volt systems such as transit and tour buses, custom coach conversions, trucks,
marine vessels, off-road vehicles, and other applications where the economics
and convenience of 12Vdc service are desirable. Vanner VoltMaster battery
equalizers are designed to extract 12 volts DC service from a multiple battery
24 volt DC system while electronically maintaining battery voltage balance
(equalization). This prevents overcharging and boiling of batteries. These
units continuously monitor battery condition whether the engine is running or
not.
The VoltMaster models are housed in a rugged corrosion-resistant aluminum
case, making them ideal for even the most severe vehicle applications. Most
models provide short circuit protection and include a resettable circuit
breaker to protect against overloads and reversed polarity conditions. And the
new 65 Series equalizers are UL recognized, making them the safest in the
industry.
